The clients, Marion and Karel Kuper, share a similar background with myself, both hailing from the Netherlands with its cold climate and barren winters. As a result, we share a passion for lush, subtropical plants that can thrive in our adopted home.

To seamlessly integrate the existing oddly shaped pool into the design, lush native plants were strategically planted right up to the back edge, creating the illusion that the pool is a natural part of the oasis. 

Gary Bjerring and his team from Wild Exposure did a brilliant job installing the boardwalk, sleeper archway, and stone water feature.
